First Sunday after Christmas

Merry Christmas

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Merry Christmas!

As we discussed a great deal over the past month, while the world celebrates Christmas throughout December, the season of Christmas begins with our Christmas Eve service.

As one article says, “From Christmas Day onward, all the fun and festivities are just beginning! You have twelve more days to celebrate, so leave those decorations up, right on up through Twelfth Night (Jan. 5–6).”

Think about that: Christmas has just begun!

As we celebrate the Savior’s birth at Good Shepherd, consider listening to the season’s music by visiting Lutheran Public Radio, available here.

Or learn more about the Twelve Days of Christmas by reading this article.

Merry Christmas, my dear friends.
